Kimberly Williams

Hi, I’m Kimberly Williams (most people call me Kim) and I am the Community Outreach Director for Tamika and Friends, Inc. I met Tamika over six years ago while a member of National Council of Negro Women –Greater Washington Millennium Section. After hearing her story, I wanted to become involved. Educating others about their health is something I truly enjoy doing.

My primary role in the organization is to plan outreach events such as the HPV events. I was instrumental in orchestrating our first cervical cancer outreach initiative in April 2005. We were able to inform and empower over 50 women about HPV and cervical cancer by arranging HPV parties in MD and in Atlanta. During the month of May, I planned an HPV pledge party during Women’s Health Week, where we celebrated and rewarded women who made a pledge to be tested for HPV. Since then we’ve done many educational events and reached hundreds of women.

Our HPV events have been quite successful to reach a variety of women. They are fun, entertaining and most importantly informative.

Tamika and I would love to help you host an HPV event. Please contact me to schedule an event at
