Karen Vogt
Karen Vogt, 32, was diagnosed with invasive cervical cancer in February 2002. Absorbed in her career and role as a single mom to her 10 year old daughter, Karen faced the shocking news that she would undergo a hysterectomy, leaving her unable to have another child. She also realized how much her life centered on her work, and took a step back to enable recovery.
